We're here!!
We made it!! 48 hours and 5 plane rides later we finally arrive at Windhoek International Airport. You'll be glad to know all our bags made it safe and sound. After a short stop at the mall (which none of the girls thought existed in Africa) for some lunch we made our way to Mpampo, our home for the next two weeks. We moved in to our most excellent accomodations, finally got some showers, and were treated to our first Namibian meal (other than pizza at the mall), Kudu stew, which most everyone loved by the way. Today we're planning to head into Vyf Rand, show the girls around, and come to grips with the fact that WE'RE IN AFRICA!! Some of the team wanted to pass along messages so here it goes...
Steph B. - I miss you guys but I'm having fun! Say hi to Bissa-crazy-pup-bacon-chiwa!

Jaimie - fam & peter...finally in Africa, having a blast, don't worry, love you

Carli - Nance, keep it together. TMP...I'm not drinking the water...don't worry. Roman & Paul - love you for writing cards. Marco & Vito - you're cool, love it here.
Katie - I miss u and love u mom, becky and emily, I'm having fun
Sam - Mom, dad, & Heather, it's beautiful here, reminds me of the Outback. I'm having fun. Love you
Steph L. - Hi Mom, Chrissy, and Dad! It's so nice but I miss you! I'm safe don't worry! See you soon! Love you!

Diandre - I LOVE AFRICA! I miss everyone & LOVE YOU TOO!

Carli, I was so happy to see you guys got there safe, getting home will be alot easier. I'm sure you'll be so tired you will sleep alot on the way back. We all miss you sooooo much already,it's really quiet around here. The boys all send there love, everybody is still mad at me for letting you go. Hi Ste! None of the cats will sleep on your bed, they're mad at you. We partied at the Boisvert's today. Mom was going to let Jaimo dress her up in a tube top and style her hair but Jaim wass being a grouch cause she misses her sister a lot. I'm enjoying all the clothes in your closet, thanks. haha.
