Here We Go Again

Well, well... What is it with CCA Namibia Teams and trees?? The big project given to team Mpampo this year was to take down this tree that is too close to the house... MUCH to close. Chainsaw in hand and we are ready to go... ugh. I have spent lots of time praying while watching our newly found lumberjacks in action. You would not believe how heavy some of these pieces are.

The team is really a bunch of troopers and working well together trying to discover the best way to tackle the job. Richard is our resident "tree monkey" climbing in the tree (barefoot of course) and securing the ropes while Nate, Jason and the girls are manning the ground and Dave is sawing away.

Well... we have PLENTY of fire wood and they have only tackled the first half of the "Y" that hangs over the house. We had one mishap where the roof was bent (thank God for metal roofs & no rain), but Joan and Dieter think it was hilarious (& blame Richard). Please pray for continued safety for the house & team... ;-)

I did not realize that this trip was really an apprentiseship for a new profession. There are over two dozen tree service companies listed in Nashua phonebook. Opportunities await. Be careful...it looks heavy. Your group might require more prayers from Darin than the dancers and concern for injury.

Got your phone message. I have been sending the financial reports to Darin's email since 7/1. What email do you want me to send to since he's not getting them?

Hello Ladies! What an amazing experience for you all. To Diandra and Adria I imagine that you are learning a lot and it probably seems overwhelming at times. Hang in there. You are strong, beautiful, resilient people with good hearts. A lot like the ones you are serving. We are sending prayers and well wishes your way! XOXO

Hey Guys,

Hi all I am so amazed at the videos and pictures. Thank you so much for posting the entries of your days in Africa. It is great for the kids back home to see all the good you are all doing. You bring tears to our eyes. Steph's solo was moving to watch even on video. I can't imagine the emotions you must all be feeling there. Just know we are all thinking of you and praying for you every day. Continued good health and we miss you all. Donna
This is lori now. I just want to say that you all must be having the time of your lives. It must be heart breaking though to have little kids that need love and care nagging on you not to leave. Dancing for a whole bunch of people who really enjoy the performances must be great. I wish i could be there going through everything that you are, the amazing times and the heart breaking times......Go team Namibia. Love, Lori
